These courses are held in connection with Bigwig Fashion Studio, these courses are virtual or in person. The course cost is R1 000 p/m and is payable for 6 months. The course duration is 6 months.

They are held on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 09:00am to 12:00pm

*Requirements: Must have a SAITO 1809 machine or similar. **If taking the offer for virtual, a stable internet connection and computer / laptop is required.

These modules are for beginners, who have little or no sewing experience. You will learn all the basic techniques of pinning, cutting and sewing a garment. The first garment is a pair of simple pull on shorts followed by two different blouses. You will be given a free size medium pattern for these first three Modules A-C.

Module D: You will learn to mark out your own patterns and adjust them to your measurements using a measurement template as your guide. You start making a wrap skirt. You will keep learning new sewing techniques with each garment.

Module E: Pull on pants with cargo and side pockets.

Module F: Soft skirt with gadgets. You will learn to make your own pattern for this.
